Juan Carlos Caballero Cifuentes, Lambaré, Paraguay

This card, my first ever, from Paraguay, is a drawing with collaged elements. You can see more of Juan Carlos work HERE.

Juan Carlos, Gracias por el envío de mail art para mi exposiciones.

Ryosuke Cohen, Osaka, Japan

Ryosuke Cohen sent me Brain Cell - 915. I was quite delighted to receive an entry from him. I looked very hard at his submission, knowing there must be a bicycle in there somewhere, or the idea of a bicycle. He has many images from Mail Artists around the world on this print, and my friend in Greece pointed out her owl on what could be a unicycle. Yes, there it is, a bicycle in there!

Thank you, Ryosuke. Your Brain Cells are always welcome.

Anne Guiberteau, Le Pecq, France

Anne has sent another terrific card for the exhibit. It's collage on velour paper. Quite nice to touch. The statement reminds me of how free I felt as a child, when my father no long had to balance the bicycle for me and I could take off on my own.
Our children learned young and said the same thing - I feel so free! Yes, to be able to propel oneself around the neighborhood, to have transportation at hand, so freeing.

But wait, what kind of bicycle is this? Hmmm?

Stangroom, Somerville, MA, USA

Stangroom sent me a very large entry - 11" x 17" (28 x 43 cm) I love it!

He included a note of explanation on this  postcard.
I'm at all sorry - it tickled me to receive a full sized bicycle tire section!
I'm sure the venue and the viewers will enjoy it, also.

Meanwhile, thanks for this cool gallery showcard of a Ray Johnson piece.
